Let it snow! Flakes tapering off in Charlotte after morning flurries before Seahawks game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Snow was falling in Charlotte on Sunday morning as the Seattle Seahawks were preparing to play the Carolina Panthers in an NFC divisional playoff game.

Snow was falling heavily just after 9 a.m. EST (6 a.m. PST), but tapered off about an hour later.

For most of the week, there were predictions that there might at least be snow flurries. On Saturday, the forecast called for a dusting in the lowland near the  stadium, with heavy snowfall in the foothills.

The game will kick off at 10:05 a.m. PST, with coverage beginning on Q13 FOX at 6 a.m.
