A lot of people depend on the Department of Transportation's drive times to get to work on time each morning.
We asked on Twitter and Facebook - if you think those drive times are accurate - and the overwhelming response was "no."
But our tests revealed the opposite.
For two mornings, Q13 News photographer Fernando Ochoa and reporter Alexandra Lewis hit the road. They clocked nearly 10 hours and tracked 10 different routes throughout Western Washington.

The Department of Transportation does the same kind of test two times a year, testing all of their routes. And their research shows travel times overall are 84% accurate.
