Have you seen this missing UW student?

Relatives of a missing UW student are asking for the public's help in finding her. Her name is Marizela Perez and she apparently vanished at around Noon on Saturday, March 5th. Family members say she was last seen in the Rainier Valley area, heading to UW Seattle campus to meet friends for lunch or study in the UW libraries. They believe she may have traveled in and around Sound Link Light Rail stations, MLK/Othello, downtown/Chinatown areas, UW Seattle campus, and the U District. She lives with her Aunt, Melinda Mendoza.  She says to walk away and not call family and friends is just not like the UW Freshman. Mendoza says, "In the family it's a must that if it's dark they won't walk alone and if they are late they will call.  I don't want to think of the worst thing to happen.  I just praying she's taking her time, whatever is in her mind. I don't want to think about the worst thing happen." Mendoza filed a missing persons report with Seattle Police and a detective is working the case. She is described as Asian, stands about 5’5”, 110 lbs, skinny build, asymmetrical bob with short bangs and brown/red highlights hairstyle, tattoo on left inner arm with the words ‘lahat ay magiging maayos.'  She was wearing denim jeans, light brown suede laced boots, possibly wearing green eye contacts. She may also be carrying a plaid backpack with a Macbook Pro laptop. They say Perez was taking medication for depression.
