Freezing temps bring rarely seen river ice disc

SEATTLE -- Freezing temperatures in the Pacific Northwest have caused all sorts of rarely seen phenomena over the last few days.

YouTube user Philip Widner caught video of rotating river ice on a river near Ellensburg. Though slow, spinning river ice disks are found in colder climates, it is a rare phenomena in the Pacific Northwest.

Freezing temperatures also brought out man camera enthusiasts.

Below are some viewer-submitted pictures from the freeze. If you have any cool pictures you'd like to share with us, send them to tips@q13fox.com.
