For second time in two days, Russell Wilson wins player of the week award (this one's better)

SEATTLE – At this rate, they’re going to run out of awards pretty soon.

Russell Wilson received yet more recognition on Thursday for his performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as he was named the FedEx Air player of the week.

On Wednesday, Wilson was named the NFC’s offensive player of the week.

To be fair, Wilson did have perhaps the biggest game of his career. He completed 21 of 30 passes for 345 yards and five touchdowns – good for a 147.9 passer rating.

Even more impressive: He did it with the flu.

Coincidentally, Adrian Peterson won the FedEx Ground player of the week after rushing for 158 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons on Sunday.
