ESPN suspends reporter Britt McHenry after video shows her berating tow lot employee

WASHINGTON, D.C. — ESPN suspended reporter Britt McHenry on Thursday after a leaked video showed her berating a tow company worker.

McHenry’s car was apparently towed on April 5th while she was eating dinner in Arlington, Virginia. She later went to pick up her car at the towing company where the confrontation happened.

In the video posted on LiveLeak, the employee warns McHenry that she is being recorded. But McHenry looks straight into the camera and continues to insult her.

“Lose some weight baby girl.”
