Downed power lines cause delays on I-5 in Skagit County

SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. -- A stretch of Interstate 5 has reopened after it was closed for several hours Thursday.

The roadway was closed at Bow Hill Road just north of Burlington at about 1 p.m. because of fallen trees and power lines.

A northbound lane reopened at about 3 p.m.  All lanes were reopened in the area as of about 4:40 p.m. Thursday, according to the Washington Department of Transportation.
