Donald Trump to hold public rally in Everett on Tuesday

EVERETT, Wash. --Donald Trump will visit Washington Tuesday, Aug. 30 for a public rally and fundraiser, according to Sen. Doug Ericksen, R-Ferndale, a deputy director of the Trump campaign.

Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, the director of Trump's presidential campaign in the state, also confirmed the visit to our news partner The Seattle Times.

“I can’t even begin to speak to all the rumors flying around, but what I can say is that I know for a fact that Mr. Trump will be in Washington state on Tuesday, Aug. 30, for a fundraising event that afternoon and a public rally that evening,” Benton told the Times on Thursday.

The rally will be at the Xfinity Arena in Everett. Tickets became available Friday morning on Trump's web site.

The location of the fundraiser hasn't been disclosed, at the Secret Service's request, Benton said, adding that it will be "very close to" or even in King County.
