WASHINGTON -- A new and dangerous punching game is spreading among teenagers, leaving many unsuspecting victims in its wake.
The game, called "Knockout" or "The One-Hitter Quitter" is gaining traction on the East Coast, CBS Washington reports. In the game, students prey upon unsuspecting individuals, walk up to them, and try to knock them to the ground with one punch.
Teens in New Jersey said the game is a popular form of braggadocio that many consider fun.
"They just want to see if you got enough strength to knock somebody out," one teen told CBS Washington.
At least one New Jersey man has already died after being punched.
