Couple suspected of a dozen armed robberies arrested

SEATAC, Wash. (AP) — The King County sheriff's office says a couple suspected of at least 12 armed robberies over the past few months were arrested Wednesday as they checked out of a SeaTac hotel.

The sheriff's office says the suspects in their 20s have been living a transient lifestyle and supporting themselves with robberies around King County.

Seven of the 12 robberies were committed within the jurisdiction of the King County Sheriff's Office.

The suspects were booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery 1st degree.
