Christmas will be sunny and bright

High pressure is building in today ending the rainfall for the rest of the week. Partly cloudy skies will quickly give way to a clear and cold overnight. We will go from about 43 degrees today to 31 tonight with patch dense fog developing around the Sound. Christmas day will be the coldest day of the week with highs near 42 degrees, but another freezing night expected under clear skies.

By Friday, mostly cloudy skies begin to filter back into the forecast with highs in the mid-40s.  All in all, it’s a calm weather forecast that should make travel a little easier.
