Big temperature drop

Happy Super Bowl Eve everyone! Temperatures are starting to feel like the night before Christmas around here as freezing temperatures have taken over our overnights! Tonight Western Washington will dry out and give way to partly sunny skies tomorrow. Highs will be in the low 40s. Things turn a little tricky heading into tomorrow night. A weak system dropping down from Canada will lower our snow level to about 500 feet. This could trigger some spotty snow showers as it pushes through the area. I don’t expect much accumulation as there doesn’t seem to be a lot of moisture to work with.

By Tuesday night, temperatures takes a huge drop with daytime highs in the upper 30s and overnight lows near 20 degrees. This will continue through Thursday when we could see more snow chances heading our way.
