Beware of this fake Seahawks online store, BBB warns

SEATTLE -- Scammers never give up.

Now, the Better Business Bureau is warning Seahawks fans about what they say is a fake online store.

The BBB says a customer tried to make a purchase using PayPal at The company contacted them and said to use Western Union or MoneyGram to speed up the process. The buyer became suspicious and reported the site to the BBB.

Officials looked into the company and found several things that were untrue. The company claimed to be based in White City, Oregon, but mail sent using USPS to their listed address was returned marked "no receptacle."

A search for the phone number came back linked to ten other websites offering branded merchandise.

Anyone who thinks they may have been a victim should contact police and report it to BBB scam tracker.
