Baby found after disappearing from downtown Seattle

SEATTLE – Seattle police found a 10-month-old girl who disappeared downtown early Friday morning.

The baby is OK.

Police said the baby disappeared at 2:45 am., and later said they found the girl after getting a 911 call 12 hours later from someone who reported seeing the child being pushed in its stroller on the street.

The circumstances of the disappearance are unclear, but police said the child was in the stroller in the area of 3rd and Pine when it disappeared.

Police said they are interviewing a woman who was with the child when they found her, and said the woman is known to the girl's mother.
