Authorities ID man killed in Christmas Eve snowmobile crash



BURLINGTON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a Washington state man who died in a snowmobile crash in North Dakota on Christmas Eve.

The Highway Patrol says 56-year-old Norman Pool Jr., of Goldendale, Washington, lost control and crashed the snowmobile into a parked car in Burlington. He was thrown from the machine and killed.

Investigators say Pool was not wearing a helmet. He was alone on the snowmobile.
