Another construction worker injured at same site where worker died Monday

SEATTLE - A construction worker was injured Wednesday afternoon at the same site where another worker died Monday. The accident happened at 101 Taylor Ave N by Denny Way.

The man was working on the 8th floor using a grinder blade when he was injured. A quarter of the blade somehow got lodged into his cheek.

The worker was conscious and in stable condition when medics got there. He was rushed to Harborview Medical and is expected to recover. On Monday 32-year-old Aaron Adair fell more than 50 feet from the building to his death. Labor and Industries is investigating both cases.

The agency did say there are no prior safety complaints or violations from the SRM Development LLC, the company involved in constructing the 10 story apartment building.

SRM Development LLC did not return our calls Wednesday.
