All inmates captured after escaping from Yakima County Jail



CAPTURED March 27, 2020 --

The U.S. Marshals reported Friday that all escaped inmates had been re-captured and taken back into custody. No further details were given.

CAPTURED March 25, 2020 --

The U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force arrested Tyrone Mulvaney in Yakima this morning.  Deputies say Crime Stoppers tips provided the details needed to make the arrest.

Five other inmates are still at large.

WANTED March 23, 2020 -- 

Authorities are searching for a group of inmates who escaped from the Yakima County Jail Monday evening.

The Yakima County Department of Corrections says it happened at about 7 p.m. when the inmates used a table to break open a fire door and then jumped over a fence.

A total of 12 inmates escaped. Six have been taken back into custody and six remain at large as of Monday evening, the department of corrections said in a release.

    The inmates were last seen wearing green shirts with "YCDOC" on the back and black pants. They might be barefoot or wearing orange sandals, police said.



    Officials are asking anyone with information on the inmates' whereabouts to call 911.
