A-list actor surprises couple on their wedding day in Central Park

NEW YORK -- For many couples, their wedding day is the most memorable day of their lives.

The decorations. The friends. The family. Standing beside your one, true love.

Of course, it also helps if you run into an A-list actor jogging in his shorts.

Tom Hanks stopped in the middle of his jog Saturday to wish a New York City couple good luck in their coming nuptials. Meg Miller of Meg Miller Photography, an NYC based photographer, snapped photos of the happy couple meeting the star of "Cast Away" and "Sully."

Hanks asked the couple's name, and said the groom was a "lucky man."

The day was beautiful, Miller said, and the Tom Hanks stop over was the icing on the cake.

First Day Films (@firstdayfilms) managed to film the quick meeting.
