9 teens arrested at Bothell car lot burglary, police say

BOTHELL, Wash. (AP) — Police say it was a group of teenage boys and girls who broke into the office at a Bothell car lot early Friday and grabbed keys in an apparent attempt to steal cars.

Sgt. Ken Seuberlich says officers arrived within three minutes of the alarm around 1 a.m. and contained Brooks Biddle Automotive before the intruders could match keys with cars.

Police arrested eight right away and tracked down a ninth with a dog. They were all booked in King County juvenile detention.

They are being investigated in connection with similar burglaries recently at car lots in Edmonds and the Lake City area of Seattle.

Seuberlich says the Seattle teens apparently took a bus to Bothell.
