SEATTLE -- A 37-year-old man was found shot in the chest in the 800 block of 16th Avenue early Wednesday, Seattle police said.
He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to a call of a gunshot being fired shortly after 2 a.m. A witness said after the gunshot, he heard a vehicle speeding off and could see that it was a red Corvette.
After clearing the scene, Gang Unit detectives located a red Corvette parked 2 blocks away. The car was impounded to the processing room for an investigatory hold.
