17-year-old shot at bus stop in West Seattle; injury not life threatening

SEATTLE -- A 17-year-old boy sitting at a bus stop on Delridge Way in West Seattle was shot in the leg Friday night, police said.

At about 8:20 p.m., two men walked up to the 17-year-old in the 9200 block of Delridge Way SW and at least one of them pulled out a gun and shot the boy in the leg. Both suspects then fled on foot and remain at large.

The teenager was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

“The victim has been less than cooperative with investigating officers and thus there are no suspect descriptions available at this time,” Seattle police said on the department’s blotter blog.
