1 killed, 1 injured in Green Lake hit-and-run crash

Seattle police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run early Monday morning in the Green Lake neighborhood.

Before 2 a.m., police said witnesses called 911 to report they saw a driver of a white F-150 hit two people in the 8000 block of Corliss Avenue North and drive away from the scene without stopping.

The pick-up truck was last seen driving eastbound on North 80th Street.

When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old man dead at the scene and a 17-year-old boy with significant injuries.

The teen was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Officers found a rideshare scooter near the scene but they have not determined if it was used by anyone involved in the crash.
