walter's blah blah blog 2/8/10
Hi, Nice winter weather continues. Tuesday looks really nice after a little morning fog. Enjoy the sunshine. As we get into the weekend the weather pattern changes a bit and it looks like we will get more rain. I've been saying for the last month or so that we'll have some rain but it will not be stormy. As we get towards this weekend it does look like the rain will be heavy at times especially out over the Olympic mountains and especially on Sunday. After that is looks mellow again for awhile. Still waiting to see what the Snow boarders are going to do with Cypress mountain being snow free. It'll be interesting to see. The Olympics start in just 4 days. Walter out.

A Dry Stretch
Our mild winter weather continues. It'll be mainly dry the next three days. Expect areas of morning fog with partly sunny skies and temps a little above normal (topping out in the low 50s) through Wednesday. Our next round of rain shows up late on Wednesday and we'll get rain overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Thursday & Friday will be showery. Photo attached to this blog is of a lovely sunrise over Carlsborg, Washington, from last week. It was sent in by viewer Jasmine. Meteorologist M.J. McDermott
