Seahawks Re-Sign Babineaux; Release Craig Terrill
The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed safety Jordan Babineaux, who was released yesterday, to the 53-man roster, the team announced this afternoon. He takes the place of defensive tackle Craig Terrill, who was released. Seattle drafted Terrill in the fifth-round (189th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Purdue, proving to be a solid backup in the defensive line rotation, playing in 76 career games with four starts. He collected 90 tackles (66 solo), 8.0 sacks and a fumble return for a touchdown in his six seasons, while ranking second in club history with five blocked field goals.
