SEATTLE -
It's the nation's first and only full-blown 1930s burlesque cabaret interpretation of the holiday classic. "Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker" takes you to a fantastic, far-away locale where the characters of the Nutcracker live and play in their off-time.
Combining classic ballet with burlesque performance, swing dance, and more, "Land of the Sweets" aims to be a racy (but not raunchy!) look at the characters we've all come to know and love from the classic Nutcracker story. Set to a hot jazz soundtrack of Tchaikovsky's original score, the Seattle-based show enters its fourth year after three years of sold-out performances.
10 of the 20 performances going on between now and December 23rd are already sold-out. To get your hands on tickets and learn more about the show, click on the link.
