SEATTLE -
Police are reopening Aurora Ave. N at Dexter Way N in Seattle after closing it overnight to investigate a deadly crash involving a car and a bicycle.
Investigators say the driver of the car hit and killed a man riding a bike in front of him around 10:20 pm Wednesday night. Both were traveling southbound on Aurora Ave. N.
The bike was in front of the car moments before impact. The man riding the bike died instantly.
Police shut down the Dexter Way off-ramp for hours while they investigated the crash.The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He is being tested to see if alcohol played a role in the crash.
