SEATTLE -
Tuesday's memorial service for the four slain Lakewood Police Officers is open to the public, but it's already outgrown the Tacoma Dome.
Organizers have opened three remote locations for viewing the processional and the memorial service Tuesday, December 8th.
Christian Faith Center , 33645 20th Ave. S in Federal Way will open its doors at 9 a.m. They will carry a live video feed from the processional which begins around 10 a.m. and the memoria itsself, scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
University of Washington Tacoma, William Philips Hall, 1914 Pacific Ave., Tacoma Opens at 9 a.m.
Pacific Lutheran University is also hostin a remote site at Olson Auditorium. Doors there open at 9 a.m.
While there will be 'some' room for members of the community at the Dome, officials say they want to make sure there's a seat for every police, fire, and other public safety worker coming in from all over the country. They are also urging members of the public to select a spot along the processional route to pay their respects.
