Wild Weekend Weather Causes Damage
With still another week left in November, we're already two and half inches above normal rainfall for the month.

All that wet weather has left the ground drenched and unstable.

A mud slide swept dozens of trees down hill, right into a West Seattle condo complex Sunday afternoon

Seven feet of mud now covers the rear of the building, which sits right off Alki beach.

A witness says he looked out of his window to see trees headed straight for him.

Windstorms also left trees down on roads and even on homes in Pacific County.

Pacific County emergency management reports 5,000 people are without power and many of those customers could remain in the dark until Thanksgiving.

Wind gusts reached 60 miles per hour Saturday night.

And in Thurston County, WSDOT warns drivers to expect backups for the Monday morning commute because of emergency repairs to southbound I-5.

The road was washed out near the Maytown Rest Area from milepost 96 to 95. The right lane is closed, and probably won't open until at least Monday afternoon.
