STANWOOD—
A Sedro Wooley man died Thursday afternoon In Stanwood while trying to cut down a storm damaged Tree.It happened just after 1 pm in the 7500 block of Silvana Terrace Road in unincorporated Stanwood.
Investigators say the man and his assistant were trying to cut the tree down while it was leaning on another tree.
It fell, landed on top of him and he was killed instantly.
Sadly it was all part of yet another storm moving through western Washington bringing more strong wind and rain

High winds swept through Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Island County again Thursday.
Fortunately there was no major damage and just a few scattered power outages.
Puget Sound Energy and Snohomish County Public Utility District workers spent much of Wednesday night and Thursday morning moving from one part of each county to the other restoring power.
At the height of the outage nearly ten thousand people were in the dark
