A woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after her home in Buckley went up in flames early Wednesday.
The fire started just before 3 a.m.
Pierce County sheriffs say the woman was suicidal and set the fire on purpose.
The house appears to be a total loss.
The woman is being treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
