'Clearly Lasik'  Eye Surgeon Charged With Hiring Hitman
SEATTLE - The co-founder of the Clearly Lasik eye surgery clinics has been charged with hiring a hitman to kill a current and former business partner.

Charging papers on Monday showed Michael Mockovak, co-founder of the Clearly Lasik clinics, allegedly offered a police informant up to $100,000 for the murders.

Prosecutors say Mockovak wanted the two men killed for insurance money and to get out of a lawsuit .

The papers say the current partner and his family fear for their safety and are living in a local hotel.
