You'll have to go somewhere else to light up in Tacoma, it's now illegal to smoke in city parks.
The Tacoma City Council approved the ordinance to fine smokers $25 for lighting up in any public park on October 20. It was approved by a 6-3 vote.
Supporters of the measure say it's a way to protect seniors and children from second-hand smoke.
Tacoma now joins Gig Harbor & Puyallup along with more than 400 other jurisdictions with similar bans nationwide.
