SNOQUALMIE/FALL CITY -
Heavy rainfall causes flooding along the Snoqualmie and Tolt Rivers.
The rain started falling overnight Sunday and rain through Monday morning. That led to river alerts along the two rivers and some light flooding on streets and in fields in the Snoqualmie, Fall City Carnation areas.
There was no major damage reported.
That much rain this early in the season has a lot of people in the Snoqualmie thinking about last year when water rose high enough to get into the downtown area and a number of homes were flooded.
During that storm volunteers worked around the clock filling thousands of sandbags to protect homes and businesses.
The good news is this is expected to be much dryer than normal.
