He's a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife and, now, his own sister believes he's behind it. Jennifer Graves said she understands the concerns of parents at Carson Elementary who are concerned that Powell showed interest in joining the school's PTA. "This point what is he capable of?" Jennifer Graves explained.

Q13 FOX News took the concerns of parents to PTA President Holly Mickel who said there's not much they can do. "We're a democratic nation," Mickel explained. Mickel added "that's PTA guidelines, state guidelines, that until they have a felony record, that's discrimination."

Powell's been surrounded by suspicion for the last nine months since his wife Susan vanished from her Utah home. But, he seems to be moving on with his life. He's living in Puyallup sending his son to school and even signing up for the PTA, although that's not going over well with fellow parents.

David Quantrell is passionate about his kids and like most parents that includes being passionate about protecting them. "I definitely don't want him around my kids," said Quantrell.

Q13 FOX News went to Powell's house Tuesday evening to get his side of this story nobody would come to the door.

David Quantrell's words are passionate and so are his actions. He says he'll do whatever it takes to keep Powell away from his kids.

The family of Susan Powell understands those concerns but worries those fears could hurt Susan's son. "Our family is not concerned about what happens to Josh but we're very concerned about what happens to Charlie," Shelby Gifford explained.

Gifford said it's been hard for the family to know that Susan's son started Kindergarten without his mother. "She was just such an active mother and there is no doubt in my mind that she would be joining the PTA and it should be her," Gifford said.

Her son's first day of school marks another milestone that Susan has missed. Family and friends say they'll continue searching for her until they have answers.
