Health officials are warning people who live in Maple Falls to boil their drinking water.Tests have found that E. coli bacteria may be in the local water supply.
The Maple Falls water co-op serves 87 homes and businesses.
The boil-water advisory will remain in effect until repairs can be made and the water meets safe drinking water standards.
