The Sound Transit Board unanimously approved placing a 15-year mass transit package on the November ballot.
The proposed plan would expand light rail service.
It would expand light rail lines by 34 miles and would cost $18 billion. The
money would be raised from a sales tax increase of five cents per
$10.
Last year, a proposed package and
tax hike was rejected by voters.
