SEATTLE -
Firefighters fully contained a brush fire on Wednesday off of Highway 410 between Sumner and Bonney Lake.
The fire burned on the opposite side of the highway from the Burgers International & Pizzaria restaurant.
No structures were damaged and no one was hurt or evacuated.
Officials say the fire burned about 20-acres on a steep hillside near the highway.
Fire officials called in extra units. At least a dozen emergency vehicles responded from several agencies including the Washington State Patrol and East Pierce Fire & Rescue. Two Department of Natural Resources helicopters also dropped water on the fire.
Crews will keep an eye on the area overnight and watch for hot spots.
No word on the cause of the fire.
