American Idols Live! Coming To Tacoma
TACOMA - The "American Idol" tour bus is coming to town and the singers are already talking about how they're going to rock the Northwest.

On Tuesday, the show's top ten finalists from last season play the second date of a 50-city tour at the Tacoma Dome.

The concert will include solo performances from winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert. Those two are joined by Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver, and Scott MacIntyre on the tour.

The group just got through playing the first show on the tour at the Rose Garden in Portland on Sunday.

"I'm nervous, but I'm excited," said Desai. "I think you have to be nervous, you know, when you go in front of 15,000 people every night."

"Yeah. If you're not nervous, then there's something wrong with you," added Allen.

Lambert hopes the the excitement the 'Idols' feel will catch on with the crowd.

"I think it's really focusing on each person as an artist in a really great way. And the pressure's off from the show. We're not being judged, it's not a contest, it's a celebration of what we did on the show. It's joy."

After playing Tacoma, the Idols head up to Canada for a concert at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Wednesday.
