SEATTLE -
A big change is on the way for commuters who use the Seattle to Bremerton ferry.
A new tunnel leaving the ferry terminal opens Monday night.
Starting with the 5:30 p.m. sailing, all cars leaving the ferry in Bremerton will go through this tunnel and emerge on Burwell St. near Park Ave.
The $54 million dollar tunnel is meant to decrease traffic congestion and improve pedestrian safety.
