MARYSVILLE -
Investigators have identified the vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run collision on State Route 2 near Everett.
The accident left behind debris from the car, including paint chips. Detectives with the Washington State Patrol sent them to GMC, which identified the year, make and model of the van.
They say a blue over tan 1995 GMC Astro Van hit 15 year old Heather Trickler on the evening of May 30th as she walking along the roadway shoulder.
The driver is believed to have stopped for a short time then fled the area. Trickler died at the scene.
Detectives of the Washington State Patrol continue to look for the vehicle and request the public's assistance in identifying the driver.
