SEATTLE -
Federal law enforcement agents say they have busted a drug trafficking ring in Seattle. The drugs, methamphetamine and cocaine, were distributed from Jalisco, Mexico to Washington.
Officials say the 14 month investigation resulted in 35 search warrants in the past two weeks that led to 31 arrests. Those arrested are accused of possession and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Operation Arctic Chill successfully seized 19 pounds of methamphetamine, a quarter -pound of cocaine, 22 vehicles, 23 guns and $60,000 in cash.
The raids were conducted at Carnation, Federal Way, Lynnwood, Olympia, Puyallup, Roy, Tacoma, Vancouver, Yelm in Washington and in Oakdale, Calif.
