A Kitsap County man was booked in for investigation of conspiracy to commit child rape.
Investigators claim the 49 year old man tried to have sex with an 11 year old girl. He also offered to pay her parent $100.00.
Police say they were contacted last week by a witness who said the man wanted to find a girl for sex.
Detectives worked with the witness who had further conversations with the man. He say he described specific sex acts and offered to provide prescription medication to ease the girl's pain and anxiety.
The witness help detectives arrest the man in an initial meeting with the girl. The man was arrested Wednesday evening when the girl arrived at a convenience store parking lot where the meeting was to take place.
