PUYALLUP - Neighbors who live in a downtown Puyallup neighborhood are causing fireworks of their own. They're taking their complaints to the city.

Neighbors are fuming over a new fireworks stand. It's not the sale of fireworks that's causing the controversy. It's the 'nearly naked' people behind the stand. Bikini-clad women are selling the fireworks. A sign in the stand reads, "Don't be afraid to stare... that's what they're here for."

'Nearly Naked Fireworks' opened up in the neighborhood on June 28 and since then more than a dozen complaints were made to city officials.

Neighbors tell Q13 FOX news they are concerned because children roam the streets and it's not something they want their kids to look at. The stand is located at the corner of North Meridian Street and Fifth Avenue Northeast.

Owners believe this will attract business. In either case, the fireworks have started between the stand and the neighborhood.
