OCEAN PARK -
A 20-year-old man could face prison time after police say he drove through dozens of birds on purpose.
Wildlife officials say on Friday in Ocean Park - near Willapa Bay - the man sped up and down the beach with his two friends for three hours.
During that time - they say close to 50 birds died - and others were injured.
The man turned himself in, but officials say if he's convicted he could face a 5-thousand dollar fine and a year behind bars for each dead and injured bird.
