Power Mostly Restored For Nearly 3,000 In Seattle
The power is mostly back on in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood this morning after nearly 3,000 customers lost service.

Seattle City Light officials say a tree fell on power lines in the area of 25th Ave. S. and S. Columbian Way at about 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.

The tree and power lines fell across S. Columbian Way, which is closed between Beacon Ave. S. and Martin Luther King Jr. Way S.

S. Columbian Way is expected to reopen before noon.

Power has been restored to all but approximately 300 customers. Service is expected to be fully restored by noon.

The area affected by the power outage is bordered on the north by S. Hinds St., on the south by S. Ferdinand St. between 4th Ave. S. and Martin Luther King Jr. Way S.
