Seattle—
They're smelly, icky, sticky and slimy and you can check them all out!Just head to Seattle's Pacific Science Center this Saturday for Animal Grossology. It's a new hands-on exhibit where kids and adults can learn some science while getting grossed-out by creepy bugs, animal dung, gross smells and lots of interactive displays.
For example, you'll learn about animals communicating with scent and it smells bad! Also, you'll find-out about cows and their four stomachs and it's loud and disgusting.
A group of students got a sneak preview of the exhibit today and had a great time. Fifth grader Hailey Purtzer told us, "I like the smelly things and I liked it when the teacher smelled it."
Fifth grader Sean Ylescupidez says, "I like the little goggle thing where you get to choose who made the poop over there." Fifth grader, Jeni Cvitanovic also says, "I liked seeing how long a tapeworm can grow."
The exhibit is based on a series of childrens books by Sylvia Branzei, the author of Grossology. The exhibit runs from this Saturday through September 7th.
