Dairy Queen Robbery (May 6, 2009)

TACOMA - Crime Stoppers received tips identifying the suspect featured for robbing a Lakewood Dairy Queen, and the suspect was arrested very early this morning by Lakewood Police detectives.

They say he robbed a Dairy Queen on South Tacoma Way in Lakewood on May 4th at about 12:45pm.

Police say the suspect loitered in the restaurant for approximately 10 minutes before approaching the counter and ordering food. When the clerk rang up his order, the suspect displayed a gun concealed inside his jacket and demanded cash. The suspect threatened to shoot the clerk if his demands were not met.

The suspect was last seen driving southbound toward Highway 512 in a blue mid-2000's 4-door Saturn.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white male in his early 20's, 5'7", medium build, with brown hair styled in a "faux-hawk" and a thin beard along his jaw line.

During the robbery he was seen wearing a purple t-shirt, blue jeans, and a gray and black Northface jacket.
