West Seattle - Update: Seattle police have made an arrest of a 31-year-old transient in connection with the anti-homophobic graffiti.

Seattle Police are looking for the vandals that have written anti gay slurs on the home of a gay West Seattle Couple.

The victims told police the same homophobic tag has showed up several times. The victims have painted over the graffiti and the next day it reappears.

The 54 year old victim told Q13 Fox News that the vandals wrote the hateful graffiti on his garage 3 times in the last 4 days.

"As a gay man I cannot live in a house where someone is writing this on the side of my house."

The West Seattle man has asked to have his identity concealed. According to him the vandals were so brazen that last time they hit his home in broad daylight.

"As bad as the wording is, it's the intent behind the wording that really drives me crazy."

The victim told Seattle Police Officers he believes he and his partner are being targeted because of their sexual orientation.

"Now, I feel like I'm living in a fish bowl. Someone is constantly watching me I feel very uncomfortable in my house. I hardly slept at all last night."

The West Seattle man also indicated to officers that a year and a half ago, a graffiti vandal also wrote derogatory remarks on his garage.

Neighbors like Roger Brown are outraged over the anti gay tagging.

"When I read that thing about f*** something, I thought oh my God," said Brown.

The victim and his partner are concerned that the graffiti has escalated into something more sinister and now the thugs have harmed one of their dogs.

"Not sure if someone threw something over the fence and he ate it. He's been on deaths door all week, he's just starting to come around."

The victim told Q13 Fox News the vandalism has gotten so bad, that he and his partner are considering moving out of the neighborhood because they are fearful.

"It's a very uneasy thing to have. I have always felt really comfortable in West Seattle until now."

Officers are still looking for suspects. Anyone with information about this hate crime should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. You could be eligible for a reward.
