Tax Refunds May Be Late For Millions In Six States

Filing your tax return electronically will get you the fastest refund. You will typically get your refund in about two weeks through direct deposit.

Investment advisers say, if you typically get big refunds, you're just letting the government use your money all year, interest-free. You'd be smarter to take the money up-front, by having your employer withhold less from your paycheck.
