Detectives are confirming to Q13 FOX News and WMW that the man known as the 'Scarecrow' bandit and the 'Hockey Mask' bandit are one in the same. They have identified him as 35 year old Daniel Cezary Wlodarzewski.An observant deputy spotted the man outside the senior citizen's apartment complex in University Place after a robbery.
The 35-year-old man was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of 10 counts of bank robbery.
Detectives believe he's behind a series of bank robberies. The bandit wore either a " Halloween"-style hockey mask or a bag with eye holes over his face.
Detectives believe the most recent robbery happened Tuesday when the suspect wore a mask and carried a handgun held up the KeyBank branch at 4001 Bridgeport Way W.
The deputy spotted him after seeing a bulletin.
